THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES USER ADVISORY GROUP

The National Archives have set up a new User Advisory Group so that users can be involved in strategic planning of TNA at an earlier stage than has been allowed before.

Various communities are represented in this new group, and I am the representative for the users of the Map and Large Document Room at Kew.  This covers users of medieval and early modern documents and also users of maps and other large documents.

Part of our remit is that we are seen to be representing our various communities, so I am seeking comments from Map Room users.  I also have an e-mail distribution list and would welcome anyone who would like to be included in that list.

Further details can be found about this group on the National Archives website.

Please e-mail me if you would like to be on my distribution list and if you have any comments on the future direction of the National Archives.
